Derrin Moore, Founder/Director

Derrin is the Owner & Head Coach of In Flight Gymnastics & Circus. She has coached for over 20 years. Derrin began her circus life through Carrie Heller’s Circus Camp. At the camp, a coach (Ron Anglin) recommended her for Cirque Du Soleil’s Outreach Cirque du Monde. Through CdM’s training and exposure to contemporary circus, the performer was awakened. Derrin performed aerial and acrobatics throughout the South East for 10 years. She has since laid down her acro shoes and uses her expertise to help clients create memorable events and inspire performers to broaden their horizons through Circus!

Derrin is also the Founding Director of Brown Girls Do Gymnastics

Crystal Roberts, Troupe Manager

Crystal has been an integral part of the In Flight and ELEMENT family for the past 15 years. She truly believes in our mission to inspire the youth and works diligently as the Onsite Stage Manager to make sure the performers have what they need and that clients are pleased with our service. Crystal’s background is in Customer Service and although she was not a performer or athlete herself, she is the mother of 2 amazing teenagers who have both caught the performing bug as a stilt walker (her son) and former competitive gymnast (her daughter).
